Getting around at our Winter Pop-Up

This is your guide to ensure you can easily get around the festival.

PARKING

Accessible parking is located in the Centre City car park, or see our parking map for other nearby locations. Centre City are kindly providing two hours of free parking to festival visitors each night. You can read more information about free parking here. Due to road closures, Centre City carpark can only be accessed via St Aubyn Street, Level 1 entrance and Level 3 ramp. There will be road closures on Ariki Street from Egmont Street to Currie Street from 4pm - 11pm, 19 - 22 June. 

WHEELCHAIRS AND MOBILITY SCOOTERS

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to use, free of charge. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL. Please contact New Plymouth District Council on 06 759 6060, or email tsbfol@npdc.govt.nz to book. The Winter Pop-Up light installations are all intended to be accessible to those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. The festival map identifies the event spaces and paths to take. 

Please note that due to congestion, and for the safety of our attendees, mobility scooters will not be available for public use at this event. 

AUDIO DESCRIPTIONS

Audio descriptions for installations are available on personal mobile devices by scanning the QR code printed on each installation sign.
